The Crow and The Pitcher (Fable)

Ngebray.com, – Almost dying with thirst, a crow found a pitcher with a little water in the bottom of it. The crow wasn’t strong enough to tip the pitcher over, or to break it so that she could get at the water. Then, seeing some small pebbles nearby, she dropped them one by one into the pitcher. Slowly, this made the water level rise higher and higher inside the pitcher, until it was so high that the crow could reach it with her beak and easily drink to quench her thirst.
