Ngebray.com,- The funeral of Thailand’s late King Bhumibol Adulyadej is under way. This is the main part of the five-day ceremony being held in Bangkok. The ceremony takes place in golden pagoda, a royal palace for five hour procession. The funeral urn will be carried atop a huge wooden chariot and towed slowly through the streets until it ends up at 10 o’clock on Thursday night.
The revered king died in October last year, aged 88. He will be cremated later on Thursday. An estimated 250,000 people are lining Bangkok’s streets. The funeral follows a year of national mourning in Thailand.
Every single person dressed in black, waiting for their last chance to say good bye to the late king.. People are lining up, hoping to get closer. The line stretches back down the street for more than a kilometer just for a crematorium. They fell like his royal subject.
