Ngebray.com,- At least eight people were killed and several injured after multiple explotions rocked a hotel in Mogadishu, Somalia, Wednesday. The explotions happened as Somali security forces ended a siege by Al-Shabaab extremist fighters who had stormed the Dayah hotel in the capital, according to police. An initial blast occured as a suicide car bomb exploded at the gates of the hotel. A while later a second bomb exploded as security forces and journalists gathered at the scene.
Four Al-Shabaab attackers were killed in the attack at the hotel, which is often frequented by goverment officials, according to Col. Mohamoud Abdi, a senior Somali police officer.
