A Parade of Employed Ducks for Tourist in South Africa

Ngebray.com,- A south African vineyard is getting help from some unlikely exterminators. The Vergenoegd Wine Estate (which located about 20 miles from Cape Town) uses Indian Runner ducks to keep snails and other pests off of their grapes. The vineyard releases more than 1,000 of ducks every morning, when the weather is cool and the snails are active. A marketing campaign featuring the ducks has helped double the vineyard’s sales over the last year. Like the other vineyard employees, the ducks get time off, too. From January through March, they take off for a mandatory vacation at the vineyard’s dam. Here is the video which will show us that moment.
